Dialectical architecture is the architecture which bases its aesthetical search on the desire to synthesize the opposition parameters of an architectural form, achieving plastic expressiveness combined with functional consistency and social significance. The semantic source of the concept is the dialectical philosophy of Alexei Fedorovich Losev (1893-1988).
